We are disappointed the UK has voted to leave the European Union.
We Made That will continue to be open, generous and committed to a shared conversation across borders. We recognise that divisions of inequality have created borders within the UK and there is dissatisfaction with the status quo. We respect the right of opinion of all those who voted, but as a practice we live and work in areas that voted overwhelmingly to remain.
We value the social, cultural and economic benefits of exchange within Europe and beyond. Our team will continue to intelligently and energetically pursue the values we hold dear.
Europe, please don’t disown us.

We recently completed our work with residents of the Chicksand East Estate, Tower Hamlets Homes and the London Borough of Tower Hamlets looking at proposals to create vibrant, safe and well-used open spaces with the estate. The project pilots an approach towards re-investing funding gained from growth associated with the Whitechapel Vision Masterplan for the benefit of local residents. We proposed a step-by-step approach that should build community capacity, as well as delivering physical change.
Croydon South End and Blackhorse Lane regeneration projects feature in the Mayor of London’s ‘High Street Stories’ publications.
“‘The regeneration’s had a huge impact – you feel proud that you’re in a good place.’ - Saran Ragendran, Manager, Kanavar restaurant. Importantly, that change has had an impact beyond just the restaurant business. It’s being seen as an inspiration across the borough. As Linda Arthur, owner of South End’s Bar TXT says, ‘The whole of Croydon is inspired by what has happened in the restaurant quarter.’ “
